LazyOS is a Debian-based desktop operating system designed to make everyday computing approachable. Its XFCE desktop brings together a straightforward workspace, Firefox ESR for the web, and useful tools for getting started.
LazyOS also includes Wine for trying some Windows applications, plus optional C and C++ development tools. Compatibility depends on each program; not every Windows app or game will run. LazyOS is an independent project and is not affiliated with Debian or Microsoft.

Geany is included; optional C/C++ tools can be installed when you need them.
Wine is included for selected apps, but compatibility varies by application.
LazyOS installs by booting your PC from prepared USB media. The setup utilities include the ISO and can help prepare that media.
Get the ISO directly, or download a setup utility for Windows or Linux. Each setup utility bundles the same ISO image.
Use a setup utility or a trusted image-writing tool. Writing an image erases the selected USB drive, so check the drive carefully.
Restart and boot from the USB, then follow the installer. Back up important files and carefully review the selected disk and installation plan.
Download the installation image or a self-contained setup utility. The setup files contain the ISO, so no separate ISO download is needed when using them.
